Securities Exchange is a market in which Companies’ Shares and Corporate Bonds are traded according to established rules and regulations. In other words, Securities are transferable financial instruments and include Ordinary Shares, Preferred Stocks, Preemptive Rights, Bonus Shares, Corporate Bonds, Option and Future Contracts and Sukuk.
Energy Exchange is a type of Commodity Exchange in which Energy Carriers and Energy-based Securities are traded. Energy Carriers include: Oil, Gas, Electricity, etc. Energy Exchange has two markets: Physical and Derivated; and the difference between the two is that in the first one the physical goods are traded while in the latter the commodity based securities.
